Within BaltSe@nioR 2.0 project we have initiated the creation of a cooperation network connecting enterprises, designers, public institutions, students and experts dealing with and interested in the subject of designing for seniors.
The first international Forum on senior-friendly furniture will be held online on May 19, 2021 from 10: 00-12: 00 CET as part of the events accompanying the Łódź Design Festival.

The Forum will feature Sidse Carroll from The Helen Hamlyn Center for Design at The Royal College of Art in London, who has many years of experience in research on aging, with particular attention to participatory research and co-designing with seniors. Furthermore Cecilie Schulze from „The Danish Design Center” will share her experience related to the use of the Design Thinking methodology in creating senior-friendly public spaces. The special guest will be Alex Terzariol, designer and general manager of MM Design studio, with offices in Bolzano, Milan and São Paulo.
